Scheduled reports & monitoring
Use a stable report configuration to measure whether GEO work changes how AI engines recommend, mention, and cite your brand over time.
How scheduled reports run
Scheduled reports begin every Monday at 00:00. Administrators can change the weekday, time, time zone, or pause the schedule when the monitoring cadence needs to change.
Active access
The account must have an active trial or paid membership and an unexpired entitlement.
Eligible targets
The owned main domain is included; eligible competitors are included only when enabled and allowed by the plan.
New report history
Each completed run creates a new report entry so you can compare periods instead of overwriting the prior result.
What gets reused
The next scheduled report starts from the saved configuration for that tracked domain: the brand profile, location, language, audience mix, selected Topics, and selected Prompts.
- Saved Prompts are reused first so the same buyer questions can be compared across report periods.
- Each plan has a Prompt cap. If the saved set is below that cap, Geolity can generate and add unique Prompts until the cap is filled.
- When the saved configuration changes, the next report uses the new version; a completed report keeps the configuration used when it was generated.
Reviewing changes in the workspace
After signing in, use the dashboard and report history to open each completed period. Compare the current report with prior reports to understand movement in visibility, recommendations, category position, prompt evidence, and cited sources.
Where to find a completed report
Workspace notification
A successful scheduled report creates a notification that links directly to the report. Failed runs create a warning notification in the workspace.
Email digest
After the scheduled items for your account finish, Geolity sends one email digest with links to completed reports when a notifiable email is available.
Keep monitoring comparable
- 1Make one clear change at a time: for example, publish a proof page or improve a comparison page.
- 2Keep the same Topic and Prompt selection when you want a clean before-and-after reading.
- 3Open Act 2 evidence in both reports to compare the actual answers, not only the headline score.
- 4Use Act 3 and the GEO optimization report to select the next improvement, then wait for the next scheduled run to validate it.
